Medicolegal & Expert Opinion

I have been an Expert Witness in  Gynaecology & Gynaecological Oncology since 2018. I accept instructions in Gynaecology  and Gynaecological Oncology on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants. I have attended courses concerning the writing of medical reports, the implications of the Civil Procedure Rules, and the role of the joint expert. My particular areas of expertise include:

I enjoy the challenges that medicolegal work presents and  I have written over 150 reports with an approximate distribution of 60% on the instruction of the defendant, 40% on the instruction of the claimant.

My current post is a consultant gynaecological oncology surgeon at Oxford University Hospitals. I have been a consultant  gynaecologist & gynaecological oncology surgeon since 2010. I have a high volume surgical workload. I am expert in complex gynaecological surgery, minimally invasive surgery including robotics, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. I carry two cancer clinics/week. In addition, I have  a regular colposcopy and out patient hysteroscopy clinics. In my private practice, I provide routine and emergency care for all categories of problems including general gynaecology, endometriosis, fibroids pelvic reconstructive surgery as well as cancer screening.
